“As low as” rates assume strong credit, usually with autopay — yours may be higher. “Personal loan” rows are general loans you can spend on a bike, not bike-specific products. Confirm eligibility and terms on the lender’s page before applying. Last checked 2 June 2026.

The local picture

Oregon’s edge is its CDFIs and community credit unions, several of which built explicit bike loans. The catch is geography — most reach only the Portland metro and a few neighbouring counties.

Before you borrow

Borrow less, pay less. A rebate shrinks the loan.

A credit union sets the rate; a rebate sets the amount. Claim any Oregon e-bike rebate you qualify for first, then finance what’s left — you’ll pay interest on a smaller number, sometimes small enough that you barely need a loan at all.

What Oregon riders ask

Which Oregon credit union has the cheapest bike loan?

Point West Credit Union in Portland, from 5.74% APR — the lowest dedicated bike-loan rate we found in the US. The 24-month term adds 0.5%, and not using autopay adds 0.25%. You have to be eligible to join.

Does any Oregon credit union finance e-bike conversions?

What happened to Consolidated Community Credit Union?

It merged with Providence Credit Union in 2025; the combined credit union now trades as Providence Credit Union. Its bike loan covers e-bikes and bundles accessories, from 11.95% APR.

Can I join an Oregon credit union just for the bike loan?

Often yes, if you live or work in the area. If you don’t, national lenders like PenFed (from 6.09%) and First Tech let anyone in the US join, so you’re not stuck.
