Home Rental Whizz vs Zoomo

Whizz vs Zoomo,
for delivery riders

Two gig-delivery e-bike subscriptions, head to head. The honest answer comes down to your city first — then the deal.

Whizz vs Zoomo, in short

For e-bike delivery, the choice starts with your city. Zoomo only operates in New York City, but it has an official Uber Eats deal at $20/week and includes repairs with no per-service fee. Whizz runs in 6 metros — NYC, SF, Chicago, DC, Philadelphia and Jersey City — and is the cheaper of the two to own: a $99 final payment after a year. Both take $99 to start and reach ownership in 12 months.

So which one?

Pick Zoomo if…

you ride in New York City and deliver for Uber Eats. The $20/week promo (through December 2026) is the lowest weekly rate in this comparison, repairs are free, and theft cover is just $5 a week. Outside NYC, Zoomo isn’t an option.

Pick Whizz if…

you ride anywhere else — SF, Chicago, DC, Philadelphia or Jersey City — or you want the cheaper of the two to own: a single $99 payment after a year. Just note the $4.90-per-service fee, and that the $99 to start isn’t refundable.

Riding every day?

Renting adds up. Owning often wins.

Either subscription gets you earning fast — but over a year, the weekly fees can pass the price of a delivery bike outright. If you’re in it for the long haul, compare the bikes built for the job and the loans that buy them.

Whizz vs Zoomo: common questions

Is Whizz or Zoomo cheaper?

Zoomo’s Starter plan is the lowest weekly rate at $39 (NYC only), and its Uber Eats promo is $20/week through December 2026. Whizz starts at $49/week ($169/month) but reaches more cities. For owning the bike, both land around $49/week over a year.

Does Zoomo operate outside New York?

Not in the US. Zoomo’s only US store is in New York City. Whizz operates in six US metros — NYC, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington DC, Philadelphia and Jersey City — so outside NYC, Whizz is the one of the two available.

Can you own the bike with Whizz or Zoomo?

Yes, both. Whizz transfers ownership for a $99 final payment after about 12 months. Zoomo’s rent-to-own is $49/week for 12 months, then the bike is yours. Note that Zoomo’s cheaper $39/week Starter plan does not convert to ownership.

Which is better for Uber Eats?

Zoomo — it has an official Uber Eats partnership at $20/week (NYC, through December 2026). Whizz partners with DoorDash and Grubhub instead, not Uber Eats.

What’s included with Whizz and Zoomo?

Both include maintenance, though Whizz charges $4.90 per service while Zoomo’s repairs are free. Theft cover is an add-on on both: Whizz’s $19/month protection plan covers half of repair and damage costs; Zoomo’s theft insurance is $5/week.
